Emilie Sitruk, born in 1977 in Paris, began her law studies at the Assas University before continuing at Sciences Po Paris and King’s College London. After three years of practicing law, she chose to dedicate herself to theatre.
She trained as an actress at the École Florent and participated in several performances. In 2007, she created the solo performance Une Femme Française, based on a short story by Louis Aragon. The following year, she directed her first documentary, La Mamma dei Cretino e sempre incinta.
She then turned towards theatre management and company administration. In 2015, she founded the Les Nuits des Arènes Festival at the Arènes de Lutèce in Paris.
In 2024, she trained as a camera operator at the INA.
